San Javier Air Show: Two Air Displays in June
The Air Academy have released information about their popular Festival Aéreo Internacional AGA 75, the International Air Festival being held in the San Javier on the 9th and 10th June.
The festival, which includes an open day at the Air Academy and an air show over the waters of the Mar Menor, is a part of the celebrations for the 75th Anniversary of the Air Academy this year. Thousands of spectators are expected to visit the area for the show, with a high number of ex-pats expected to be in attendance.
The Air Academy released an itinerary for the day.
Saturday 9th June
Visitors will be able to visit the installations of the Air Academy in San Javier between 10:00 am and 17:00 pm. There will be a mixture of open door tours and static displays relating to the air academy and the history of aviation in Spain.
In the evening, there will be a preliminary aerial display over the beaches of Santiago de la Ribera.
Sunday 10th June
The main entertainment for the day will be a large-scale aerial display that will take place over the beaches of Santiago de la Ribera, including an aerobatics display by the Patrulla Àguila (Eagle Patrol).
